My name is Eric and I am from the English class of Diamond Technology Institute were we read and write a lot of times. I learned that English class has a lot of writing than typing even though you have to type a lot an that helps me because in the future, I can expend a lot of writing. The project was to type a easy that the only way to pass is to have more than 500 words. I learned that that’s a job a preparation for a longer easy that is most likely going to happen in college.
A five paragraph essay about how the anti-immigration movement is racist. The assignment was to type an essay that is about your choice of immigration and to make it more than 500 words. I went threw site after site to find something that supports my oppining. I learned how to make one sentence longer and sound like the same sentence. This tells me that I can make more words out of one sentence.
I thought critically and creatively on how to make a 20 word sentence sound like a 11 word sentence. I mastered skills needed in career and college by being able to make my way through a 500 word essay. The two demonstrated my success an are imported because not only your going to master the skills needed but, also think creatively. I could have demonstrated better in self directed learner who communicates effectively because I am sust to learning an figuring out things on my own.
The two most important things that I have learned are being creative and reading a lot. I have to be creative because you can do what you what is you put your mind into it.
During the class of English 1, the learning objectives are learning about many things that are in a fiction book, that happen in real life. This is valuable to my future because then I will know that every fiction book has been inspired by a real life thing.
The project that I am submitting as an artifact for English 1 had the following learning objectives, essay about the book speak, a real world event, and a personal event, word count 750-1000. These link back to the course learning objectives by being able to write an essay that involves with real life things.
The assignment was about the book speak and required me to write an essay 750-100 words about the book, a world event, and a personal event.
The Process I went through to do this project and meet the learning objectives first started with the book, then a world example that has the same theme, and last about a real world example about it.
Throughout this process listed above, I have realized I have learned or grown in the following ways, that it is not hard to write an essay 750 words long. These link back to the course goals and project goals with the following evidence of the easy.
This tells me the following about myself and how I learn to do a better essay.
The Two School Wide Learning Outcomes I demonstrated with this Artifact are, Self Directed learner who communicates effectively, and Applying technological skills for the 21st century.
I have demonstrated being a self directed learner who communicates effectively in the artifact by demonstrating the assessment that I was able to finish. This is important because . The second SLO I demonstrated was applying technological skills for the 21st century by providing evidence to many parts of the essay and is important because next time something like this happens I know to provide evidence. I could have improved the following SLO better by making sure next time I have the time to finish projects.
Overall the the most important things I have learned in this class this year are that English can break your fingers and that fiction books are like nonfiction books. These skills I have learned in this class will help me in the future by making sure my fingers don’t beak and that there's no such thing as a fiction book.
